Kastom Gaden Association

Kastom Gaden Association (KGA) proudly celebrates its impactful partnership with Solomon Tobacco, a collaboration dedicated to advancing agriculture and bolstering food security within our communities. This initiative has already yielded significant results, with over 35,000 vegetable seedlings distributed to communities in and around Honiara during late May and early June 2026.

Nourishing crops like Chinese cabbage, tomatoes, pumpkins, corn, eggplants, beans, lettuce, and pepper were provided to the NZ camp, LDA, and Burns Creek communities. The goal is simple yet profound: to ensure households have ample food for consumption and the potential to generate income through surplus sales, all while promoting fair distribution. This dual approach not only enhances nutrition but also fosters economic opportunities.

KGA extends its deepest gratitude to Solomon Tobacco for their unwavering support and shared vision of community empowerment.
