The Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources is responsible for the development of Fisheries, Marine and Aquatic resources in Solomon Islands. The Ministry coordinates all fisheries activities operating within the 200 miles EEZ of Solomon Islands and ensures that the harvesting practices of all marine resources are done in accordance with the Fisheries Management Act (FMA 2015).
