The Ministry of National Planning and Development Coordination is one of the central Ministries of the Solomon Islands Government. The Ministry plays an important role in assisting the Government to develop national development strategies, medium term development plans and annual development budget.

Our Mission is to provide strategic direction and credible and sound advice to the Government in promoting the development of the Solomon Islands through collaborative participation with all stakeholders.

Our Services

Ministry services include:

Preparation of national development plans and developing budget allocations.
Mobilising, managing and coordinating Official Development Assistance in strategic partnership with all development partners
Evaluating the progress of implementing national development plans, annual development budgets, and building capacity of Monitoring and Evaluation activities across the Government sector.
