Loyane Tahani, owner of Niala’s Keki’s Kitchen, is a young and passionate baker from Malaita and Makira provinces who enjoys sharing her baking journey. Her interest in baking started in 2019 when she watched her aunt bake cakes to sell at the market. “I think it’s good for me to learn how to bake,” Loyane said. She then began learning simple baking skills from her aunt. By the end of 2019, she felt ready to start on her own, using what she learned along with ideas from the internet. “I think this is my passion, so I started baking and I really enjoyed it,” she said.
Today, Loyane runs her own kitchen and continues baking with joy, turning her passion into a growing small business.
